I'm thinking of becoming a Luddite

I don't know who these guys are, but after you watch this video you might want to put that cell phone down.

that's amazing! do you think it is real?

after spending a week in southeastern PA, i think i could have done the same thing on the sidewalks!! how do you stand that weather? now i remember why i moved away from the midatlantic to maine 25 years ago last month. much more sensible up here. good to be home again!

Yes, it's lovely in the Mid Atlantic states. I just checked my outdoor thermometer and it got to 102 in the sun at my back door today (but on the upside, the lowest it recorded all winter this year was 12 -- positively toasty by Maine standards, right?).

Ya-OUCH! I think I need to try to duplicate this... (or maybe I shouldn't and that's the whole point.)
SE PA got to 95 today... What this portends for the rest of the summer I do not know.

Interesting stuff. If you can make popcorn, what's the cell phone doing to our brain?

Scary!!! I think I'd better get a hands-free device for my cell phone...I don't want to fry my brain!

good point sue, the coldest i got here on the coast this winter was 3never got below zero. but, i can always find a way to stay warm. when i was in PA, staying at a friends house without air conditioning, sleeping naked with fans blowing on me and beads of sweat running down my face, that 3 was sounding pretty good! LOL

I agree Donald -- I prefer the cold, where you can always put on another l ayer. But with the heat, you can only take off so much (in public!)
