you know... my husband, active duty Army, who I haven't seen since April and haven't been with for more than a month in 3 years... he will be lucky if he can get 2 weeks off to witness the birth of our child and help us move to another state. When he got back from a year in Iraq he was only given 10 days with us.
Have fun, Congress! Way to work hard and vote against giving our military members adequate time off. You deserve a nice vacation indeed.
It is unbelievible that the men and women of the military are left to keep fighting — business as usual — while the politicians (here AND in Iraq) go on vacation!
